	&lt;p&gt;He said it was "no longer a music contest" and that prospects for Western European participants were "poor". &lt;a href="http://www.metro.co.uk/news/article.html?in_article_id=149336&amp;in_page_id=34&amp;in_a_source="&gt;&lt;em&gt;(Metro.co.uk)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;

You had to be Eastern European to be allowed to play. This is little to do with music, all to do with small-minded cliquishness and prejudice.&lt;br&gt;
But then its been like that for years, right? Ever since they changed the way votes are counted.&lt;br&gt;
For me, for several years, the only joy and tradition has been to settle down and chuckle along with Wogan at the whole damn farce.&lt;br&gt;
If he goes, I'll be happy to switch off and ignore the show from here on in - heck, I'll even bombard the BBC with complaints for pushing Dr Who out of the way for this junk.&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;That's not per hour, its &lt;strong&gt;per week&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Just thought you'd want to know.
